Valuable life lessons from my 50 years of living on this earth

  • Be kind. Always.
  • Life is short. Live every moment.
  • Always express your “Love you”  to your loved ones. You never know when they might be no longer with you.
  • Be grateful for everyday you have.
  • Hate is as strong an emotion as love. Do not invest in hate. Not worth it.
  • When you are angry, smile and laugh. Works like magic.
  • When bad time is upon you, remember, this too shall pass.
  • Pay it forward. Good karma.
  • Learn to say “No”
  • Walk away from people who don’t love you and who give out negative vibes. Not worth it.
  • Your IQ can take you only so far. Emotional Quotient is more important.
  • Death is inevitable. You are not in a rehearsal. You might never get another chance. Live it to the fullest.
  • Start saving early.
  • Remember, everything is a choice you make. There is no “No choice in a situation”
  • Accept others perspectives. Try to see from their point of view.
  • Always ask if you want something , be it at work or elsewhere. It never hurts to ask.
  • Accept that there will be always be many who are better than you. Learn from them.
  • Everyone and everything is dispensable.
  • Your body changes. Your perspective changes. Your maturity evolves. Accept and Evolve gracefully.
  • No one genuinely loves you except for those who stand by you through all your hurdles.
  • People have their lives to lead. Do not expect much from others.
  • Life is a set of problems. When you change jobs, relationships, places…. you move from one set of problems to another.
  • Parents are the only souls who will love you no matter what.
