Shoba is a TEDx Speaker and a Distinguished Toastmaster who often shares her life journey in various speeches, focusing on inspirational themes with a humorous touch. Her speeches draw from her experiences of battling three cancers and undergoing a kidney transplant, making her a strong advocate for patient self-advocacy in health.
She has published her first book, My Race Against Death, chronicling her fight with cancer and kidney failure. Through this book, she hopes to provide valuable lessons for others in similar situations.
Shoba is an engineer at heart with a Master’s in electrical engineering from Stanford
University. She is an innovative, results driven dynamic Engineering Leader with three decades of experience in the Semiconductor Industry and currently leading as Manufacturing head in the Battery Industry. She is passionate about sharing the importance of self-advocacy, especially for women, at work, to speak up against bias and barriers.
